Paraprofessional, 1:1 elementary special education - 1st grade

Provides individualized academic, behavioral, and physical support to elementary students with disabilities as outlined in their ieps. Assists with daily living procedures, monitors classroom activities, and collects data on student learning goals under the direction of a special education teacher.

Requires completion of district-Approved training in de-Escalation and physical restraint, as well as the ability to meet physical demands such as lifting and transporting students. Candidates must maintain a permanent residence in colorado and meet district insurability requirements if driving is involved.
