Instructor, Aquatics (3343)

The swim lesson instructor is responsible for providing professional swim instruction while ensuring the safety of all participants in the pool area. They must also maintain class rosters, track student progress, and enforce ymca safety policies and emergency procedures.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold current certifications in first aid, bls for the professional rescuer, and emergency oxygen administration. Proficiency in various swimming strokes and experience in coaching or instructing aquatic programs are required.
