Swim Lesson Instructor

The instructor provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes while maintaining safety and ymca standards. They are also responsible for building relationships with students and parents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.

Candidates must hold a current ymca swim lesson instructor certification and valid certifications in bls, first aid, and oxygen administration. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting equipment and observing students in the water.
