Swim Lesson Instructor

The swim lesson instructor provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes while maintaining safety standards. They are responsible for building authentic relationships with students and parents and ensuring all ymca aquatics policies and procedures are followed.

Candidates must hold a current ymca swim lesson instructor certification and current certifications in bls, first aid, and oxygen administration. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and capable of performing the physical requirements of teaching in a pool environment.
