This position assists the coaching staff in areas including practice preparation, player development, game operations, recruiting, and administrative task.

Assist with recruiting including official and unofficial visits Coordinate team travel and meals Monitor student-athletes academic progress and coordinate with academic support Help with on campus housing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Mobility and ability to lift equipment or other items of 50 pounds. Hearing well enough to communicate with students and co-workers. Visual ability to drive, read, and use a computer. Cognitive/Emotional ability to think critically and concentrate. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The position is a part-time position in Athletics. The Graduate Assistant for women’s basketball will report directly to the Head coach. WORK SCHEDULE: The Graduate Assistant for Women’s Basketball is required to maintain normal office hours, attend all practices and games, as well as attend required meetings. TRAVEL: Travel is required for all away games and recruiting events. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee.
