Library Stacks Summer Assistant Shannon and Clemons (Student Wage)

The stacks assistant is responsible for returning library materials to the stacks and performing general maintenance to ensure accessibility for patrons. They will also assist with shifting book sections, retrieving used books, and helping patrons with book searches.

Candidates must be current uva students with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting books and pushing heavy carts. Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn the library of congress call number system are required.
