Core responsibilities
The childcare staff is responsible for implementing the weekly curriculum, maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families. They also conduct child assessments, communicate progress to parents, and provide direction to other classroom staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have previous childcare experience and meet the education and experience requirements defined by the dcyf. Applicants are also required to pass a state dhs background check and obtain first aid, cpr, suids, and aht certifications.
