Responsibilities
Responsible for providing Dietary Education and Diabetes self-management education and training to individuals and groups according to the Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice, and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators (ADCES).
Qualifications
REQUIRED 1. One (1) year experience providing diabetes education to individuals and/or groups ADCES certification or eligible for certification and will complete within six months Registered Dietitian OR Registered Nurse with current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License PREFERRED Knowledgeable about current diabetes treatment management. Lead and manage group classes. Work Hours: 7:30-4:00
