Job description

  • Chester Family YMCA is seeking part-time sports camp counselors to help with our summer sports camp program.
  • There will be a multitude of sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, flag football, floor hockey and dodgeball.
  • This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour.
  • We are asking that all counselors are available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer.
  • DUTIES of a Sports Camp Counselor Sports specialists should be available to work evenings and weekends to help facilitate practices and games.
  • QUALIFICATIONS of a Sports Camp Counselor Sports specialist should know the basic rules of the sport, work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
  • If you are interested in helping with a specific sport but don't have experience, we will train you!
  • Sports Camp Counselors should have an enjoyment of sports, being outdoors, and working with young people.
