School Age Before / After School

The assistant teacher supervises children to ensure a safe, positive, and enriching environment while implementing lesson plans based on child development principles. They also act as a liaison between parents and the program director, maintaining accurate classroom records and ensuring compliance with ymca standards.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and possess either 2500 hours of documented experience or current enrollment in secondary education. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and tb test.
