Swim Instructor

The swim instructor provides swimming instruction to participants of all ages while following ymca aquatics guidelines. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, positive environment, tracking attendance, and supervising class aides.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess or obtain cpr, aed, first aid, and ymca swim instructor certifications within 60 days. The role requires the physical ability to swim in shallow and deep water and the capacity to remain alert in a warm pool environment.
