Position Summary

Play Academy is seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team. This role works directly with campers to facilitate activities, ensure safety, and create a fun, supportive environment that encourages learning, creativity, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage with campers during daily activities, games, and crafts Lead and support both structured and unstructured activities in alignment with Play Academy programming Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all campers at all times Assist with set-up and clean-up of activity spaces, materials, and equipment Monitor camper behavior and provide guidance to promote positive interactions and inclusion Support attendance tracking, parent communication, and documentation as needed Report any incidents, concerns, or feedback promptly to the Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director Represent Play Academy professionally and positively in all interactions Independent Contractor Status (1099) This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor Responsible for taxes, insurance, and compliance as applicable Flexible schedule required during camp hours Play Academy is committed to equal opportunity employment and values the diversity and unique contributions of all our team members.
