Youth Support Advocate

The youth support advocate provides direct care, supervision, and support to children in an emergency shelter to ensure their safety and well-Being. Responsibilities include facilitating daily routines, managing intakes and discharges, and responding effectively to medical or behavioral crises.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working with children or vulnerable youth. Proficiency in trauma-Informed care and the ability to maintain required certifications like cpr and first aid are essential.
