The substitute teacher will implement lesson plans and manage classroom behavior to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. They are also responsible for providing instruction across various subjects and maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and possess a valid teaching credential or substitute permit. Previous teaching experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom settings.
Implement lesson plans as directed by the regular classroom teacher. Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Provide instruction in a variety of subjects or specializations as needed. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Follow all school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety. Report any incidents or issues to the school administration.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid teaching credential or substitute teaching permit (as required by the state or district). Previous teaching experience is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a classroom and engage students. Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different classroom settings.
