Summer floating teacher assistant

The floating teacher assistant supports classroom teachers in implementing educational activities and maintaining compliance with head start standards. They are responsible for documenting child development, managing classroom records, and assuming teacher duties when necessary.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or g.e.d. And either hold a child development associate (Cda) credential or be willing to enroll in a cda or early childhood education program immediately. Additionally, the role requires daily access to a personal vehicle for travel between centers.
