Special Instructional Assistant

The special instructional assistant supports students with significant developmental delays by implementing individualized instructional and behavioral goals under the guidance of special education staff. They also participate in iep meetings, maintain accurate progress data, and foster positive relationships with families and the classroom team.

Candidates must possess an early childhood technical diploma or child development associate (Cda) credential and have at least two years of experience working with preschool children. Proficiency in special education practices, trauma-Informed care, and the ability to work in a high-Risk community are essential.
