We're working with a Georgia school to hire a reliable and experienced American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for a part-time role (2 days per week). This position offers the opportunity to provide consistent, individualized support to a student, helping ensure full participation in their educational journey.
The ASL Interpreter will provide real-time interpretation services throughout the school day, facilitating clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers during instruction and school-related activities. Your work will help promote inclusion, enhance engagement, and support both academic progress and social development. By maintaining professionalism and confidentiality, you will contribute to a structured and accessible learning environment.
You will also work alongside educators and school staff to ensure consistent communication support and help reinforce strategies that benefit the student’s overall experience. This role is ideal for an interpreter who is committed to student-focused support and values making a meaningful difference in a school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. EIPA score of 3.6 or higher (or willingness to obtain). Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
