Youth Health Care Assistant (Ages 16-17)

The healthcare assistant develops leadership, academic, and employability skills through participation in work and professional life-Building experiences. Apprentices are expected to demonstrate proficiency in workforce competencies by the end of the program cycle.

Candidates must be 14-17 years old and currently enrolled in high school, a ged program, or an equivalent program. Applicants should have an understanding of the cultures and needs of the alaska native and american indian population served by the organization.
