Key Responsibilities Before/After School (Extended Care Duties): Supervise students in the extended care program during designated hours. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate games, activities, and quiet time. Ensure student safety and adherence to school behavioral expectations. Maintain accurate attendance and incident records as required. Communicate effectively with parents during pick-up and drop-off. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or experience in childcare/education preferred. Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with school staff. Must pass a background check and meet all state and diocesan requirements for working with children. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Working Conditions Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to lift to 25 lbs. May require outdoor supervision in various weather conditions.
