• About Us Celebree School of Northbrook is a new childhood education center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate teaching assistant for our preschool room. What You’ll Do
• Lead and manage a classroom in compliance with Illinois DCFS licensing requirements
• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines
• Foster secure attachments through responsive, nurturing care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers in the classroom
• Observe, document, and support infant developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families
• Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed What We’re Looking For
• Prior experience working with in a licensed childcare setting
• Meets Illinois DCFS qualifications for Lead Teacher (education and experience)
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
• Warm, patient, and nurturing teaching style
• Dependable, organized, and confident in classroom leadership
