Student Assistant, Head Start Program

The student assistant supports center staff in carrying out early childhood programs by assisting with classroom activities, meal times, and physical care needs. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment and fostering positive relationships with children and families.

Candidates must be enrolled in early childhood education courses at a local community college and follow an individualized professional development plan. Additionally, they must obtain and maintain a pediatric first aid and cpr certification.
