Core responsibilities
The instructor will be responsible for teaching in the medical assistant technician diploma program, which prepares students for entry-Level employment by covering necessary knowledge and skills in the classroom and through supervised clinical practice or a capstone experience. This includes instructing students on preparing patients for technical examinations like ekgs and phlebotomy, as well as performing several such procedures.
Requirements summary
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma (Associate's degree in a health care field preferred), a diploma in medical billing and coding or insurance, and a certified professional coder (Cpc) certificate. Candidates must also have completed post-Secondary training as a medical assistant along with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
