Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE Provides direct American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services to deaf/hard of hearing (DHH) as assigned throughout the University to patients, their families and others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides required interpretation at scheduled times or upon emergency request. Receives assignment of appointments and may schedule appointments for provision of interpretation. Maintains required records. Other duties as assigned.
