Reading Interventionist

The reading specialist delivers targeted literacy interventions to students and collaborates with classroom teachers to strengthen reading instruction. They are also responsible for maintaining student progress records and communicating effectively with parents regarding reading goals.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid michigan teaching certificate, with a reading specialist endorsement strongly preferred. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check and be capable of performing the physical demands of the role.
