The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons while assessing child development according to GSRP grant requirements. They must also collaborate with the classroom team and maintain effective communication with families and community partners.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or possess a valid teaching certificate with a ZA/ZS endorsement. Experience in classroom leadership and the ability to meet state licensing and educational requirements are essential.
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.
