Alabama and Georgia school systems offer the opportunity to serve local communities while working a predictable, school-year schedule across multiple schools within area.

In this school-based role, you’ll support students across multiple schools in the Alabama and Georgia school system, collaborating with educators and staff to promote student success.

This part-time position offers 24 hours per week and follows the school-year calendar (10-month schedule), providing built-in breaks and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

You’ll achieve success by

Conduct evaluations, identify areas of concern, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student academic success. Plan and implement effective treatment programs focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities. Provide consultation and education for teachers and staff to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills in students. Ensure all documentation complies with state regulations and district standards for accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist Licensure in Alabama and Georgia in good standing. CPR and first aid certification required

Compensation

$40-$50/hour with 401(K) with a 4% employer match. Travel time and mileage reimbursement provided. Requirements

Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing for both Alabama and Georgia. CPR and first aid certifications are required.
