Diabetes Educator

The diabetes educator provides comprehensive education and health assessments for clients of all ages to manage their diabetes effectively. They develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans while collaborating with a team of registered nurses and dietitians in an outpatient setting.

Candidates must hold an oregon dietitian license and be a national cdr registered dietitian. A minimum of three years of experience in diabetes treatment and education is required, along with knowledge of adult learning theory.
