The paraprofessional works directly with classroom teachers to implement academic and behavioral supports for students. They facilitate social interactions, assist with personal care, and monitor student performance to ensure an inclusive learning environment.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree, 48 college credit hours, or a praxis certification. Prior experience working with children is required to effectively support special education populations.
