Core responsibilities
The behavior technician implements applied behavior analysis (Aba) strategies to support students with autism in meeting their iep goals and accessing the curriculum. They work as part of a classroom team to assist with instructional programs, behavior management, and daily classroom routines.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of classroom experience and a strong understanding of aba principles. A valid arizona ivp fingerprint clearance card is required, along with the ability to obtain first aid and cpr certification.
