Core responsibilities
The behavior technician implements applied behavior analysis (Aba) strategies to support students on the autism spectrum in accessing the curriculum and meeting iep goals. They work as part of a classroom team to assist with instructional programs, behavior intervention, and daily classroom routines.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a classroom setting and a strong understanding of aba principles. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with an arizona ivp fingerprint clearance card and the ability to obtain qbs certification.
