Market context

Pediatric ICU roles in New York are selective

Demand for pediatric intensivists in New York is typically driven by children’s hospitals and tertiary care centers that need physicians for high-acuity inpatient and ICU coverage. These roles are competitive because employers often look for New York licensure, Pediatrics board certification or board eligibility, and current BLS and PALS credentials, while benefits may include tuition reimbursement, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, generous PTO, and medical plans. Before applying, confirm your New York license and AHA certifications, and use this platform’s AI-summarized requirements and benefits to quickly compare openings without reading every original posting.
