Assistant Teacher (10-month, Full-Day)

The assistant teacher will support the planning and implementation of early childhood activities based on the highscope curriculum. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment while ensuring compliance with agency and head start performance standards.

Candidates must hold an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field, or possess a preschool child development associate (Cda) certificate. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform various movements like bending and stooping to assist children.
