Support teachers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment while implementing age-appropriate curriculum to foster child development. They also collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic learning experience and maintain a structured classroom.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in a structured childcare setting. Additionally, applicants must pass a background check and possess or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Support Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to cultivate a positive learning environment. This role involves assisting caring for children, implementing curriculum, fostering social-emotional development, and maintaining a nurturing and structured classroom environment.
Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for children Assist planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a holistic learning experience for each child Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive lesson plans Supervise and engage with children to promote positive behavior and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and milestones. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning space. Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Minimum two years of experience working in a structured childcare setting Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Must pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Relevant certifications or qualifications in Early Childhood Education
