The Activities Specialist assists in monitoring and providing safe procedures for various camp activities while maintaining equipment. They are responsible for supervising campers, facilitating challenge course programming, and supporting the overall camp culture.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess current First Aid and CPR certification. Previous experience with camp activities and a positive leadership attitude are required.

Assists the Adventure Coordinator with monitoring and providing safe procedures at the various activities across camp. Helps with operation and maintenance of all program activities and equipment. This position will adhere to the Camp Code of Conduct, support the Christian camping and ministry culture as well as uphold the mission, and practices of The Salvation Army and its doctrine.
· Attend and participate in evening programs and spiritual activities.
· Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters.
· Assist with the clean-up of the whole camp at the end of each session and at the conclusion of the summer.
· Assist with evening cabin supervision
· Attend and participate in Staff Orientation.
· Attend and participate in all camp wide activities, campfires, staff meetings and staff devotions
· Assist with Camper check-in and check-out.
· Positive attitude and ability to take a leadership role.
· 18+ years of age.
· Current First Aid and CPR certification (May be obtained on site).
· Experience and previous knowledge camp activities.
· Preferably ACCT Level 1 or site specific or equivalent. (May be obtained onsite if needed)
· Ability to use positive behavior management techniques with campers and an ability to adapt to difficult situations with a sense of maturity and safety.
· Maintain a high standard of personal and communal living and behaviors.
