    Responsibilities of a Part-Time Health Information Technology Instructor include but are not limited to: Instruct introductory or advanced medical diagnosis and procedure coding (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT) Instruct short course in medical terminology in classroom and/or online Develop syllabi and course materials in conjunction with Program Director. Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Assignments may include day or evening classes and on-campus or online. Meet all classes at the time, place and length of time designated. Required Qualifications: Current CCS or CCS-P credential OR RHIT or RHIA credential with recent 5 years inpatient and outpatient medical coding experience.

    Experience with in-person instruction. Proficiency in the use of on-line Learning Management Systems such as Canvas. Salary Information $925 per Instructional Unit for Lecture Classes, $57.81 per hour of Lab or Clinical Instruction.
