The Graduate Assistant will assist with all phases of the football program, including recruiting, practice planning, and player skill development. They are also responsible for administrative tasks, video coordination, and supporting team travel and fundraising activities.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be enrolled full-time in a master's program at UPIKE. Previous collegiate playing experience and knowledge of NAIA rules are required.
The University of Pikeville (UPIKE), a NAIA School which competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Graduate Assistant for Football. Duties include administration in all phases of the programs, including recruiting, player-evaluation, practice planning and implementation, off-season conditioning, fund-raising, and scheduling, other coaching duties, or administrative duties as assigned. The position is under the direct supervision of the Head Coach.
Assist with arranging aspects of team travel, including but not limited to team meals for home and away contests and team lodging arrangements. Assist the Head Coach with office and administrative duties.
