The successful candidate will teach graduate-level nursing courses in an online environment and design engaging instructional strategies for accelerated learners. They will also provide academic support and participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
National nursing certification relevant to teaching area preferred.
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida. Active, unencumbered RN license in state of residence; Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, preferably in graduate nursing education. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience. Demonstrated success teaching in online or hybrid learning environments. Experience with accelerated nursing programs strongly preferred. Experience with curriculum development, course design, and student learning assessment. Demonstrated commitment to student advising, mentorship, and academic success. Evidence of scholarly activity with potential for ongoing research and publication.
Experience teaching in graduate or accelerated MSN programs. Familiarity with online learning management systems and instructional technologies. Knowledge of CCNE accreditation standards and participation in accreditation processes. Experience with simulation, virtual clinical instruction, or innovative online teaching methodologies.
