The Learning Experience – Sterling is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to support children during their earliest stage of development. This role focuses on creating a calm, responsive classroom environment where infants build trust, explore sensory experiences, and begin early communication development.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working closely with families while supporting consistent daily routines for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months Support feeding, diapering, and nap schedules throughout the day Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages early development Implement age-appropriate sensory learning activities Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Communicate daily updates with families regarding routines and milestones Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Virginia licensing and health and safety requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma required Prior childcare experience required Experience working with infants preferred Patient, reliable, and team-oriented Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
