Preschool Aide

The preschool aide supports teachers and supervisors in maintaining a positive, supportive atmosphere for youth and their families. They are responsible for planning and implementing age-Appropriate activities while ensuring the safety and inclusion of all children.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and meet dhs hawaii early childhood registry qualifications, including vocational training or orientation. Required certifications include cpr, first aid, aed, and child abuse prevention training.
