Teaching Assistant - Pine Street Preschool

The teaching assistant supports the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging classroom environment while facilitating developmentally appropriate activities for children. They also collaborate with families and staff to ensure high-Quality care and adherence to head start and state licensing standards.

Candidates must hold a cda, fundamentals class completion, or 3 credits in early childhood education, or be willing to complete these within the first year. Experience working with young children and low-Income families is required, along with the ability to pass a criminal record and fingerprint check.
