Job description
Felician University is presently seeking a detail oriented, highly organized and personable specialist to serve as a Student Success Librarian.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Library Services, the Student Success Librarian supports the library’s efforts to promote academic success and retention. This position will help students succeed by enhancing and promoting library services, resources, and spaces. S/he will work with other librarians to develop teaching materials and outreach strategies to engage and support first-generation, first year, transfer, non-traditional, and international students.

Required Education
A Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from an ALA-accredited library school.
Qualifications
- 1+ years’ professional experience in academic librarianship.
- Proficiency with library databases, research tools, and relevant technologies to support student research and integrate library resources into academic curricula.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Expertise in creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that address diverse learning styles and needs.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University.
