Core responsibilities
The student nurse extern will work 1-On-1 with a trained preceptor to gain clinical experience and confidence in a hospital setting. They will participate in supplementary educational sessions and engage directly with patients to support nursing care.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with an expected graduation between december 2026 and february 2027. A minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0 and an active american heart association bls certification are required.
