Position Overview

The Lifeline Facilitator supports individuals and families in building healthy, resilient relationships through group instruction, personalized coaching, and case management. This role is ideal for someone passionate about personal development, skilled in facilitation, and committed to empowering clients through education and support services. Reports to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Social Work) highly desired.
  • Experience in teaching or facilitating workshops or training sessions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to guide discussions, manage group dynamics, and create a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Ability to address challenges and make adjustments as needed.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Google Drive, etc.
  • Agreement with Lifeline’s STATEMENT OF FAITH AND STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLE Must be a committed Christian demonstrating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and faithfully attend church Ability to prepare materials, manage time, and ensure smooth workshop flow.
  • Ability to adjust facilitation methods based on group needs and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Group Instruction & Facilitation Lead engaging relationship education classes for diverse groups, using evidence-based curricula.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and reflection.
  • Adapt content delivery to meet the needs of various audiences (e.g. adults, couples).
  • One-on-One Coaching & Case Management Provide individualized coaching to clients focused on relationship skills, personal growth, and goal-setting.
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized action plans.
  • Connect clients with internal and external support services as needed.
  • Digital Recordkeeping & Data Management Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, attendance, and progress.
  • Utilize digital platforms to track outcomes, manage referrals, and support grant reporting.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
  • Program Support & Collaboration Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts for program participants.
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate program effectiveness and improve service delivery.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and community events as a program representative.
