Job description

Description Harmony Campus is seeking a dynamic and data-driven Targeted Instruction & ESE Teacher to support the growth and success of our learners. This role will provide targeted instruction and ESE services for learners.

Position: Full time/Exempt, 10 month position

RESPONSIBILITES Duties of this position include but are not limited to

Provide targeting instruction to Tier 3 learners. Provide ESE services to ESE learners. Partner with classroom teachers, ESE teachers, Instructional Coaches, and target instruction para to align interventions with core instruction. Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage learners in the classroom. Use a variety of assessment data to refine curricula and instructional practice. Evaluate academic achievement through detailed data analysis of learner performance. Collaborate vertically and horizontally with teaching teams to ensure learner success. Assume personal responsibility for the academic progress and data of all learners. Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with learners, families, and staff. Uphold a professional demeanor, strong work-ethic, detail-driven work style with excellent organizational skills. Retain a commitment to getting the job done well, no matter what the obstacles or how long it takes. Dedicated to learner success and to building relationships through activities outside of the normal work day such as arts productions, after school clubs, and school-wide events. Qualifications

All employees must be fingerprinted and pass a background screening process by the Clearinghouse. Knowledge and understanding of state curriculum standards and effective instructional strategies Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills with school-based, regional, and district support teams Ability to employ effective coaching and facilitation skills to plan for and respond to consistent learning across content areas Ability to reflect and apply knowledge from current research on best practices for improving learner achievement Demonstrate command of leadership skills in formal and informal settings Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments in an efficient manner EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate Experience using current communication technologies Successful instructional experience, including coaching and mentoring adults Experience evaluating, designing, and facilitating professional development for adults Experience leading professional learning communities OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Post-graduate degree in an educational field from an accredited institution Experience with project implementation and management
