Our department places a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and supporting one another, and our well-equipped facility allows clinicians to deliver high-quality care across a range of patient needs- including an on-site rehabilitation pool for aquatic therapy. We also support continuing education and advanced certifications, encouraging clinicians to grow and specialize over time.

This role is ideal for someone looking for a different pace of practice. You can build relationships with patients, work as part of a supportive team, and enjoy a better balance between work and life outside the clinic.

Market context

Outpatient OT roles in Virginia remain active

Outpatient rehabilitation settings in Virginia often look for occupational therapists who can support patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions, and PRN coverage can be appealing when clinics need flexible staffing. These roles are competitive because employers typically want Virginia licensure or eligibility, a degree from an accredited OT program, CPR certification, and early-career experience that can fit into a team-based outpatient workflow. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your licensure status and CPR renewal before applying.
