Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Charter

The speech language pathology assistant provides direct therapy services to students according to their ieps and collaborates with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and reporting accountability data as required by the organization.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and possess an active speech language pathology assistant license from the state of florida. One year of pediatric experience in an interdisciplinary setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
