The instructor is responsible for supervising and teaching Practical Nursing students during clinical experiences at medical facilities. They must ensure students achieve competency in course objectives while maintaining accurate records of performance and attendance.
Candidates must hold a current Michigan Registered Nursing license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. A minimum of three years of clinical experience as an RN and prior teaching experience are preferred.
Current Michigan Registered Nursing license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse preferred. Prior experience teaching students or staff preferred. WORKING / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to work late and occasional weekends to support business needs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; and have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a phone, computer keyboard and other office equipment.
