Job Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children at all times Supervise and actively engage with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, water activities, and transitions Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, and faith-based learning experiences Support the integration of Catholic teachings and values into daily programming Collaborate with fellow teachers and program staff to ensure a consistent and well-organized daily schedule Assist with preparation, distribution, and cleanup of snacks and lunches Monitor children’s behavior and promote positive interactions, conflict resolution, and respect for others Ensure proper use and care of supplies, equipment, and facilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and shared spaces Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding student needs, concerns, or incidents Follow all parish, school, and diocesan policies and safety procedures Complete all other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the program Job Requirements Minimum age of 16 years old Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children Dependable, responsible, and positive attitude Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of the parish The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
