  • Responsibilities: (The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role) Demonstrates knowledge of content and pedagogy Plans and executes lessons that differentiate the needs of our students Assesses students, maintains records (including curriculum maps), and writes report cards Coaches two competitive team sports per year in the Lower School or Upper School Utilizes learning management and student information systems provided by the school Communicates effectively with parents, students, school administrators and community partners, including attending parent teacher conferences Maintains a visible presence in all areas of the school and promoting cooperation and cohesion among all Divisions Maintains professional environment that is safe, inclusive and creates positive learning environment Collaborates positively and respectfully with members of the Physical Education Department as well as the whole school community Engages in other responsibilities and duties assigned by Director of Athletics Presents a positive role model for students that supports the mission of the school; demonstrates behavior that is professional as identified in Employee Handbook (inside and outside of school) Continues to grow professionally by participating in educational opportunities, reads professional publications, and participates in professional organizations Demonstrates flexibility and a positive attitude toward new challenges and growth opportunities Participates in school-wide events; attends during and after-school functions in support of school community Completes a minimum of two duties as assigned by Division Head (number of duties may vary depending on role) Attends and participates in all required faculty and staff meetings and serves on school committees as required Completes responsibilities as assigned by Division Head or direct supervisor based on student and school needs (e.g. test proctoring)

Requirements
