Swim Instructor I

The swim instructor provides direct leadership and instruction for students in swim classes according to ymca guidelines. They are responsible for maintaining a positive atmosphere, tracking student progress, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold ymca swim instructor certification or an equivalent. Required certifications include cpr for professional rescuers, aed, basic first aid, and emergency oxygen.
